Man this is inspireing me. Can't wait to get a garage and get into my engine bay as well as the re zincing of all the metal bits and peices.

It is coming along very nicely. Good job.

The rods came with the springs. The springs I'm hangin out for are the ones for the top tailgate stays.

Finally, a bit of progress. Things have been a bit slow lately but it's getting there. Now I can fit the headlining and seats etc.

Still chipping away. I got the dash and interior fitted....just the kick plates and arm rests to go and the hoodlining is being fitted next week. The door trims have been painted for now while I'm waiting for a repro set. Just a little bit further..........

That looks beautiful inside, where are you situated, there are a couple of places I can suggest you get your door trims done....they can do HJ more easily than HZ
HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"

The pic really doesn't do it justice.....it actually looks much better than that.

I'm in NSW about 2k from the ACT border. I've already been in contact with a mob in SA that do repros but they are flat out and have a waiting list. The painted ones will do for now and it's a pretty easy job to change them over when they arrive. If the mob you know do them for less than $550.00 a pair I'm listening
