I was planning on starting a new thread & linking this to it, but couldn't figure out how to...

    Anyway, my question is:
Is there a degree of how dead a clock is?

I have one clock that the second hand goes for a quarter of a lap when you activate the adjuster knob
one clock goes for about 3 or 4 seconds
one clock that does stuff all

Or would they all need the same amount of work/parts?
    any ideas?

    thanks in advance
    Max

Wow. Just re-read this thread. So long ago that I repaired those clocks, I have forgotten it all. I hadn’t even been on a mine site then, and farming was only just starting to get bad.
Try replacing the capacitors, no guarantee though.
