i think they were just an optioned up kingswood. - but not quite premier spec.
i wrecked one, it was a HX, chamois with vinyl roof and 253 T bar auto...
i have seen a few HJ and HX's they all had a proud "deluxe" badge on the bootlid.
that badge on the ebay auction looks like a HJ one, the HX one was chrome...

One I knew of was definately HJ Kingswood Deluxe
I just found in the HJ features manual option A8J added on 15/05/75. Called "Deluxe Vehicle Package", available on Kingswood wagon and sedan and on HOLDEN utility. Called the "Big Country utility" in literature. Ute dissapeared for HX and in HX it was wagon and sedan only and V8 only.
A8J got you a lot of interesting stuff. Looks to be basically a Kingswood with XW5 outback equipment package but based upon HOLDEN ute.
