    Funny, on Sunday Ski, Rodney and I were talking about how the vans sounded and how it would be good to be able to drive and hear it properly. I have never heard the sound of mine barking as it goes past.

    You would be surprised how many truckies comment on the uhf when you overtake them. Thats in an ordinary old wb. I would think in a sandman with the stickers on you would get even more thumbs up!
    Not many nice sounding cars on the roads these days I suppose.
    If you put them on the Dyno you can get a nice listen to them!

    When we were bringing my Sandman back from Wagga Wagga we had truckies commenting on both the HJ Sandman and my fathers very original 1974 XB GS Ute (which has UHF) that was towing it. So yep they sure do!

    i had the citylink tunnel to listen to the growl on the way home from nats.... oh so worth the toll fee.

    yeh we did a bit of tunnel blasting on the way to the nat,s following a beaten up old orange van i thought would be goin' but he he turned off
