HJ, HX and HZ features manuals and HQ and LJ ordering procedures. Now I just have to read it all and digest it. Heaps more Sandman applicable info I didn't know existed, plus other stuff as well.

Sounds like some interesting info coming up Byron. Eagerly awaiting what u find. Learning about all this stuff is as enjoyable as it is owning them.

My father has a friend i spoke to who has access to some old Holden paperwork, as he works there, can you send me a few things which might help you and ill give them to him.
I cant promise anything but if i can do anything to help after the assistance you have given me i would be happy to.

he doesnt happen to work for motors limited does he?...my hq gts 350 is from there and i was once told they still have all there records..just never chased it up..

Anything will be gold, even if not Sandman related it will be gold to someone else like Ben Stewart. Old zone bulletins, updated order procedure pages, or updated features manuals. What I need most right now is 1974 HQ order procedure and features manual, but even more valuable info may be contained in single and 2 sheet memos. I found soem 1970 and 1971 memos recently for Victorian zone dealers that lists the exact Monaro production from a certain date onwards for Dandenong. This sort of stuff is priceless to a historian. If there is enough of it I am happy to travel and scan!
