Mook has upgraded the opening of a can of worms into a bucket of worms.
Johan, if it's the car you want, and if it needs a new shell to save it from becoming scrap I say go for it. It's not like you can walk into the dealership and order one up.
(I don't see people complaining to much about fiberglass shells for hot-rods and fj40s, hell, if I could buy a new shell like you can for a muscle car in the states I wouldn't be thinking too long about that decision.)
What it's worth will be somewhere between what you want to pay and what the buyer wants for it.
I agree with OZbox.
Pay what its worth to you. Dont listen to what people think. Its worth what you think it is to you. =)

True, but i'm not about to publish a how to! Some stuff is not to be published, web or book. Too many lowlife scammers out there that would use the info to sell mocked-up fakes on Ebay and play dumb about the vehicle. Most people here won't get caught but it is still a major time waste and obscures the "big picture" by muddying what is left of the Sandman pool.
