My van is no where near road worthy! It would probably get there with a tank of gas if I wanted to loose my licence. :Chin:

My suggestion now is a pub near the reserve and keeping the same day. Then we get to see the ski man's van looking shiney!
car parking neer the event would be a issue. maybe keep the holdy as the venue and check out the car show first if you want to. or change the time to meet after the show ends so we meet together...

I knew something was on the 23rd. Of course, 'All Holden Day' at the Bay! I suggest shifting the date. All Holden Day is a rather large event, one that definitely attacts my attention.
all sound good to me, Pity my van wont be ready by then. bummer. there are quite a few pubs and bars around the bay. I'm sure that there will be something that we can all easily get to and park. If we decide on something where there may be limited parks i can always save a safe park with my 4wd at the local, then leave if anyone is planning on driving a van.. hope that makes sense. btw i live at the bay so no drama.
my two cents:
Im not fussed if i have my van at the holdy or not, would be nice to meet up and go for a cruise in some sandies if time permits however.
I didnt mean to spoil the party, and will happily stroll over to the holdy as i hear its a nice microbrewery ive not yet sampled, and then at 3.30 i'll just stroll back to pick up the van and potentially meet everyone back at the pub. given the parking concerns near the foreshore with the event on i think the holdy is still a great option.
i kinda feel that the plans changed directly from my post so because the world most certainly doesnt revolve around me, lets go with the original plans as set out by AG, and we'll catch up at 2pm
(besides come 2pm i reckon i'll be bored at the holden day anyway)
