Don't very often drive the van to work and last Monday in Perth is the reason why. We had a large and very localised hail storm on a (to start off with) cloudless 32degC day. The storm came and left within 1.5hours
My Hilux ute was parked at Uni of WA in Nedlands during the hailstorm - it is now a write-off. The hail was so intense that the C pillar (even on the outside of the curved steel) on a dual cab ute is now peppered with indentations. Bonnet, roof, doors, fenders, flat sheets = wrecked.
Lucky the van was at home in the shed.
Easy to get another Hilux.
