    Agro,
    Are you going to upholster it? If you are you may find MDF to dence to take staples. MDF dust is also very harmful to your lungs. I hate the stuff. I think plywood is the go.

    Toughen up agro and use iron bark and polish it!

    I agree, MDF is nasty. If you plan on painting the edges then it's the material of choice, sadly.. But otherwise use some rotary cut CD Ply if it's going to be fully upholstered. If you are looking for some cheep ply get it with as "DGB" down grade back. Talk some lingo at the timber yard then hit them up for atleast 20% discount.. lol, have fun with the chopping!
