Here is the car. Looks like his LH front wheel hit my RH front rail, and then it spun around and the VZ's quarter hit my RH doors. You can't see it in the pictures but the VZ quarter is flat level with the boot lid, which is across as well. Once the owner's dad found out he had to pay for a tow he took off. I'd say the car will stay where it is.

Most insurance companies we deal with give you a complete new car no questions asked if they are written off, and are less than a year old...so hopefully that will happen for you, but more importantly you are okay and noone else was in the car (am assuming)
I would like to lobby the RTA to make third party property at least manditury like the greenslips are when rego is due, as too many deadbeats get around in bombs uninsured and a lot of the time unregistered as well...

How annoying as you will be down a car until they sort something out for you...

Stockies on the rear. Now there's a sign of someone who takes care of his car and is a careful responsible driver.

its a sign of being ferrul, and not being able to afford insurance, or rego most likely....at least that is what the deadbeats in Parkes drive about in....wannabees who skid around corners, and think they can control their cars when they have no idea...

I don't know the details etc. Just happy no-one includung me was hurt!

I bought the car as a 1 month registered demo, so hope that is regarded as new! If not i'll get money and buy something. Hiluxes are impossible to get right now. Maybe an SSV auto wagon, these tow 2100kg legally.

That's one of the joys of full insurance.
Even if they are not covered you still are.
