I found out today it lives at the local car dealers Braybrook Motors (Which is in Ballarat, not Braybrook!)
Even though it has the HJ style eyebrow stripes, it has the HZ style SANDMAN tailgate

I had a look at this car in the flesh today and its immaculate. Everything is new. Its had a ground up nut n bolt resto with a hell of a lot of money spent on it.
Its not an original sandy but is an original 253. Not sure if the engine is original to the car.
It is for sale 35k which seems a bit exxy but the resto is A1. Its show car quality!! Everything is replaced, redone, retrimmed or reconditioned.
I was looking at it for a mate in melbs but hes only really interested in a van.
If the owner doesn't sell it locally hes going to put it through shannons in a few weeks so if anyones interested I can pass on his number.
