Cool........I've been thinking about doing one of those after the van. OUCH!!!! Mrs GTS just whacked me over the head![]()
Thought it was a VR-VS at first. Exactly the same body shape, but badged as an Opel Calais. Engine badge shows 2.6L Dual RAM whatever that is. Front was hard to get a picture but is same as VR-VS. Mick? Does this mean GMH built VR-VS as export Opels or are VR-VS just an Opel built in Aus?

I just found out what it was. Taken from Wikipedia:
The VS Commodore was the last of which to be sold as Toyota Lexcens, as Holden and Toyota ended their model-sharing scheme.[90] The last Lexcens were built during 1997.[91] This model was also sold as the VS Commodore Royale in New Zealand. Similar in specification to the Calais also sold in New Zealand, the Royale featured a standard VS Commodore body with the front end from the VS Caprice and an Opel 2.6 litre 54-Degree inline six-cylinder engine. The Royale was also sold between 1995 and 1997 in small numbers to Malaysia and Singapore as the Opel Calais.
