HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"
Married to RodneyHZ253
mainly seen on a/c 253/308 prems and statos but can be retro fitted if your not worried about correct and like to know the money put into the motor is gunna be safe..yes that bottle is right ..or close enough.:Chin:
the blokes at my wreckers had said there were two bottles.
the one for A/C was a tall thin one that sat behind the grille apparently. either way, of the 20 or so HJ-Z's they had in the yard we could only find two brackets. and none of the cars had overflow bottles still on them.
Oz being i'll inevitably end up doing a factory AC installation this one is fine? is there even another sort?
my van has a radiator with an overflow tube so im leaning toward doing the correct thing and putting a bottle on it instead of letting it boil out onto the road.

Yep thats the bracket and i have a brand new bottle and a nice bracket for sale now.... :P
thats the stuff im searching for....
thanks to our mysandman Oracles Oz and Absinth...
so i guess i'll just have to keep a very close eye on the water level and will put up with it draining out onto the road every time i turn it off. so bottom line is that no bottle with radiator draining onto road is how it should be yes?
