    yeah he is on here...
he may ask for the number in the bottom RH corner of you glovebox tyre placard for that one (2200kgs) and if the van has a full headlining.

nice combo though, factory HZ with 308 Turbo400.

Hi Darren. That was me at the all Holden day.

Glad to see you bought it. I reckon you are on to an original Sandman, but others are more expert than me.

Surprised you were not all over this one Adam?

It is most likely not as a TH400 XU3 would be very rare. It could be though, full length headlining and interior light switches on the door will bve the best way to tell. If it is it will be the first of it's kind i've recorded (I have 3 x TH400 XU3 utes recorded). My money would be on it being a B06 though. Does it have a Premier front (no spoiler cutouts) and Premier doortrims/armrests? If it was a BO6 it will have originally been column shift and would not have had a console, possibly a seat separator so it may have evidence of 2 x rear console brackets between the seats but no front bracket.

Chassis number should be around BHZ19000A

Without the plates it is no longer a Sandman, just another HZ ute shell.

You could check the sills etc for signs of blackouts and the door jambs for light switches but not really much point..... without ID plates it is just a body shell....

take some pics of original plates, and post them up and look and see if there is a centre console mount, and a hole in the floor for either a floor shift or a manual gearstick, as three on the tree is not a Sandman

    btw
