the red square thing if it is on the floor where a console would go would be the mount....yes well your age you prob were not even conceived in one lol......
glad you love old holdens its up to you to keep the dream alive...look forward to seeing the plates, they will tell all, but they have to match the chassis as well so you know they are the correct plates for vehicle....or chassis for plates, this is getting confusing...read some of the threads on this forum and you will learn a lot.

Having read the conversation 3 times I think I have it sussed.
The ID plates that Catto's girlfriends dad has are not the original plates from the vehicle. The original plates that were on the UTE were stolen, and replaced with a set of plates from a HZ PANELVAN. Therefore the plates he has have nothing to do with the vehicle that is suspected to be a Sandman.
I must concur with that explanation Play!!
