Would have been all over it 6 months ago, but have bought one the same since
It would be price mate. Had the same issue with mine - you may have to drop 5k to 8k to move it as there are always deals to be done with the dealers. I know of people buying new for less than the second hand prices.
I got quoted $39k driveaway for a Hazzard VE SS auto ute a week ago. That includes 12 months business rego and stamp duty. Not an SSV I know but really only missing the leather trim. Satnava nd 19" wheels don't mean that much to me.
i think 37k is pretty dam good for a practically brand new SSV. 6 months old, i stil lclass as new. compared to ones here its veyr well priced. maybe interest rates staying will boost buyers confidence. cannot afford to drop it much more. not going to give it away. still so new. its all a little disapointing LOL

The problem you have is that it's easier to finance or lease a brand new vehicle. The people who have cash and are looking to save a few grand buying secondhand are willing to get one with 30,000km and save another 5 grand. There's people out there selling them who pretty much are willing to give them away.
Pretty sure my sister paid less than yours and it had 1250 km (not a typo) adjustable suspension , 20 inch R8 rims, hardcover and HSV Steering wheel/gearknob. It's a buyers market out there. If you're buying a new car you need to make sure you're going to keep it for a while and get your moneys worth.
