VU / VY Panel van canopy

Hey vombil, did you try contacting a holden dealer in Perth, like any of the maintenance ones? (i havent looked inot it) and seeing if they can get them in and fit them?

i sent amcat(?) a message but hadn't got a reply...

yeah i saw that one for sale a few extra grand than i was hoping to spend and also its only the V6... :(

Maybe i should look for one in Melbourne, get them to fit it and ship it over hmmm if there 2 or so grand cheaper in Melb might be the go...

Would be interested to here from anyone else thats had any luck (or not)

Read the whole ad. It's a V8 6 speed SS.

How much are you expecting to spend on the ute? Considering the canopy is 6 grand, from a dealer you can probably knock a couple grand off the price of the car if you turn up with cash, that means that the silver one is in the ballpark with all the other VY utes in terms of price.Then you have the positives of it being ready to go right now, close enough to inspect before purchase and no massive shipping costs.

was hoping to spend around 18000 max to be honest

hmmm i may go have a look... but will keep looking everywhere (im in no rush)

actually i would take a V6 anyway if i found one i want (would just prefer the 8) and would actually rather VU as well

so if anyone knows of anything...
