Welcome Garry! M8 that's a wicked looking van!
The huge bubble window in the tailgate looks great!
Hopefully someone on here knows where it ended up!
Gotta luv the 80s murals too!

I've had quite a day researching, haven't any more details on the Van, only that it might have been smashed and painted white or beige.
I found Peter "Devo" the orginal owner and caught up on the phone. He's in Brisbane and still doing his awesome art, I'm catching up with him shortly, what a day!
That door is unreal! The whole van was. Awesome stuff.
I've had Pete's email address for a fair while now after i met him a few years back.
Very nice bloke.
I heard somewhere that it was used as a painters van for a while too.
Thanks for the pics, it's a shame about the damage that was caused.

It's a damn shame you got rid of it mate. That van made me want to. The side door on it is so freaking cool! The whole van is freaking unbelievable on that note. Would love to see more pics if you have any... :lifesaver:
I just got back from Peter's place, turns out he is back in his house from when I knew him 20 years ago (about 30 mins from my place), after moving around with the Army he's been back in Brisbane for years, we had lost contact after he moved to Canberra with the Army, and had returned around the time we left for our 6 years in Melbourne.
Anywho we spent 3 hrs reminising about the old days and Vans etc, really brough back somegreat memories I'd all but forgotten about.
He has also lost track of the "ADD VAN TAGE" and last he heard it was in an accident that crushed the side of the Van opposite to the door, was fixed and resprayed White (or Beige)???.
If you are interested he's still doing his Art, see his website for details www.doyenmurals.com

ha ha It's still the only car I've ever owned, that when I've been cruising a Chick yelled out "Hey you want to F*ck" Absolute classic, man I loved that Van.
I was telling Peter today, that not long after I took the Van of his hands, one of the hot local girls became my girlfriend, when I sold it not long after she dumped me.
Chicks loved this Van and loved being in the back of it even more. Ahhhhhh the memories at the Drive In!

I did ask him to mural my van once upon a time but he's been to busy with his large mural work he's doing.
