    I cant follow ebay at all. You will have a gts clock with bids of $50 and another one is listed and the bids go straight to $140? Do people not do searches before they bid?
    Ebay is the same as clearing sales, people will pay $7.50 for second hand steel posts, you can go and buy new ones for $7.50. I think people get the idea winning the auction is the important part, wrong, winning the auction for what the bit is worth is the important thing.

    We too saw that cap on ebay, and as much at it is a ridiculous price for something we gave to ski man so he could complete his resto, I have since been unable to source any more for others who need them, am thinking of looking at a couple of utes which I know are in sheds at their caps....so my point is if you want something that has supposedly become unobtainable and you can't finish your resto without it, you pay the price...:weights:

    BigCav, can rares make these please...

    All in the advertising I reckon.

    I bought 5 scuff plates of EBay for .99 cents. Scrubbed and polished 2 of them up , took a nice picture and sold them for $153 a month later on EBay.

    Go figure. :errf::errf:

    DON'T get the chrome copies from Rares because they are crap.
    When mine is done up tight, the handle faces 5 o'clock and 11 o'clock.
    Looks shithouse
