    Need an Expert!

    HI
Can anyone help me....... Can you tell me if a HJ 11/95 Mod Kingswood Sandman, Melbourne built, have a Brisbne HX Chassis from factory or should the compliance plate match the chassis?

And, is the chain that holds the spare wheel, different on the Kingswood Sandman to the standard Kingswood hj ?

Hi david welcome to the site!

Is/was it a ute because you mention Kingswood and the chassis and plate must match otherwise there has been a swap at some stage.

I take it you mean't 11-75 not 11-95. 11-75 is not late for HJ as the HJ run finished at the end of June 76.

Melbourne cars would have never received a Brisbane chassis and a Brisbane built body would not have gone to Melbourne for assembly. Even if a late run car got a newer model chassis it wouldn't be stamped with the newer model number.... IE HX stamped chassis on a HJ plated car.
