HX 253 auto XX7 ute in Aquarius with 18V trim

Anyone after one of these is great original survivor condition, just minor wear and tear and probably needs paint let me know. Has most of the orignal stripes still on it. Owner wants around $15k. Is an L32 M40 GU4 car. Basically unmolested. Similar sort of thing to Rodney and Jennie's red HZ. I'm awaiting photos. If it was a HJ or HZ in 308 auto I would have probably bought it myself.

I got photos of it today. 95,000 original kM, origional master cylinder, original trim with what looks like 1 x tear in the drivers seat. Body looks rust free and dead straight. Has original vsor. Only mods appear to be bullbar and dragways. It is an 11/97 Elizabeth build XX7.

    Get in there Robbo!

It sounds like one to leave as is and enjoy without the worry of a resto. Survivor is good in my books, as good as a restored one, warts and all.

I would leave as is, just as you say James. That is my thinking exactly. However, I would have to sell my current ute to make room for it. I would have to convince my wife that this is a good idea also.

Off I go to try and convince!..ha,ha.

Current ute will only depreciate in value, Sandman ute will appreciate in value so is a far better investment......also a Sandman ute will keep you out of the pub and at home in the garage tinkering on it.... If that doesn't convince her nothing will.....

No, can't do it. Can't really justify it, there is nothing wrong with my current ute.I would only be too precious with a sandy ute anyway, restored or not, I know that. Someone will give it a good home. Good comments by the way...ha,ha.
