1915 is mint julep, which would have been a cool colour, XX7 too, would be deffo worth what he is asking if it was the original colour, but still very nice anyways....

Lovely HX! I agree 32 thou is a bit steep considering its not 100% original! Although for the right buyer and the fact that its been completely restored, It'll be a gold mine!

Where is the "only 500 made with the Sandman steering wheel emblem" coming from?????

Aircond is not factory and I also doubt the power steer is either. Nice looking van but not worth anywhere near $32,000 in my books in the current market.... wrong exterior colour and wrong interior colour drops the value by at least $10,000 for me not to mention the HZ twin light front.... XX7 stamp or not....

Value to me is in a %100 original restoration..... otherwise you might as well just buy a Kingswood van and build a Sandman replica to the colours you like..

Cannon couldn't get $35000 for his and it was a far better and more accurately restored HZ....
4/75 HJ XX7 Sandman Panelvan ... Persian Sand currently restoring
7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD

I don't think the non original colour will hurt it too bad, it is done very well. I'd actually rather buy it in that colour than in green. It is the twin front, bonnet emblem, aftermarket A/C and the fact it is a 253 that will hold it back. $32k is too much too, but $22k isn't out of the ballpark in my opinion. Where is the rest of the A/C too? has it just been removed?

I'm no expert, but I thought the HX didn't have Sandman on the steering wheel at all..? And the mirrors? I've had countless people try and convince me they're GTS because they're plastic.
