Cool. Is it a DL7 or has it been resprayed?
It has been resprayed at some stage. How can you tell if it was a DL7 originally? Sale order papers?
Cheers Dave
Looks like this will be a great project is that a kingswood protector strip down the side
I'm pretty sure that is a stick on aftermarket strip by the look of it.
You can't tell if they were DL7 or not unless they are in factory paint, or you have the broadcast sheet.
Nothing better than the moment you start the rebuild or finish it :errf:. let the fun begin!![]()
Yes stick on aftermarket protector strips.
I know the feeling about driving them for the first time it's almost unexplainable. My Torana was 14yrs in the making, great enjoyment in rebuilding it and driving it. This rebuild should be a lot quicker especially with all my little helpers.
Cheers Dave
Goodluck mate. Nice colour combos etc. Will be great to see another one getting the treatment.

You can do the whole surfboard on the roof thing with the racks, but rust issues in the future may be a concern. They look better than coffin rails on a ute I suppose.
