Stickthis does reproductions of all the placards. pretty sure that would be your best bet.

Document that it was there originally also with some photos or if you have another lid paint that and put the repo sticker on it and keep the original.

Or better still I can supply you with a repro decal and also a new HQ glovebox lid. Keep the original for future referance.

With HQ the sandmans and non sandman utes and panelvans used the same placard anyhow.
