Looks like it all starts here. Just a few happy snaps to show what I've got and where I'm coming from
So I have unbolted the body, a few bit's and pieces left to play with then the body comes offI don't have any old photos and these ones aren't good (taken on the phone) but as soon as I get my camera back i'll get some better ones.
Also need to give the shed a good once over and get the power on out there.

Looks serious, is this a HX or HZ, whats the drivetrain, cant wait to my shed up and pull mine apart as well.
HX 308 M21 with a 3.36 diff. Yeah serious haha, body off, ground up... What have I got myself into...?
This has been waiting for ages and it was this site that has motivated me to get stuck into it. I have to empty the shed, line the walls and re-do the floor, then I'll be a little happier. Right now there is no power and bits of HQ-WB filling most vacant space in there! I should have it ready to work in within 4-6 weeks

A few more pics of the rust, Courtesy of me leaving it in the weather for a while. Luckily the van is quite solid and very straight. It's in far better condition than many I've seen. I'll be on the hunt for a donor van shortly.

Currently taking the fuel filler out. undid the hose clamps and got splashed in the face with fuel. The van hasn't had fuel put in since super was still on the market and hasn't had a fuel cap since about 2001. :Chin: Very strange?? Time to empty the tank and get on with it.
