    all looks sandman to me.

Does it have a fuse behind the brake booster? Its on a red wire, white fuse holder. This is for HZ twin headlight fronts. Its doesnt 100% mean sandman but is another good thing to check for. Without it its either had a whole loom change or isnt a sandman.

It looks like a sandman to me,M(Belmont)70 panel van 18v trim conferms it to be sandman. The skinny tag I think you may have doubled the 7 I think it should red 8M70RHJ592809Z,not 8m77.Of course the motor L32(253) being a capital L not l.I think 9/79 is a late HZ and a late sandman there will be others that will be interested in this tag information . The only other thing that would be good to know if the glove box door is original and has the right tyre placart and does the chassis number match the I'd tag numbers and therefore have the original chassis

Definitely Sandman ID plates, and they all align fine. It is a 9/77 hence the lower GVW than later HZ. Whether of not the plates belong to the body is another thing, but by the sounds of it they do.

Another of that big glut of pre 12/77 Dandenong HZ Sandmans that I have recorded. They really pumped them out of that plant prior to them ceasing HZ production before the end of 1977 - there was only one HZ completed in Dandenong after 31-12-77.

Be more worried that the body is correct for the tags. Tags are definitely Sandman. If it has headlining and console brackets then you'll be just about OK.
