Another of that big glut of pre 12/77 Dandenong HZ Sandmans that I have recorded. They really pumped them out of that plant prior to them ceasing HZ production before the end of 1977 - there was only one HZ completed in Dandenong after 31-12-77.
So HK Scott has written the date wrong he has written 9/79. I can see though that by the outer number that it is probably a brother to our van and ski mans

Jason where is this fuse located I have two HZ sandman the red one is unmolested original as you could get and I cannot locate this fuse. there is defiantly a relay on the radiator support panel on the right hand side off the radiator for the headlights
I know there is a Tread on this because I read previous posts on this subject but I have never followed it up before
They might be there and I don't know what i'am looking for.

Early HZ didn't get the same lights as GTS, so possibly it has something to do with that.

The fuse Jason talks about is located on the firewall just next to the brake booster (if standing at the front of the car looking at the windscreen it's on the RHS of the booster.) It's a little white block with 2 terminals coming off it.

hmmm yes good point Byron. You could be right.

Here is a pic of the fuse. Its usualy located to the brake booster side of the wiper motor.

See how the red wire is not in the loom also. This is normal.
