I have to purchase/find a centre console for my HJ. Has anyone purchased a console lid and can give me some comment on its quality, reproduction accuracy etc?

These lids are so hard to find (but I have plenty of time) in good condition with all hinges in place.

If you are talking about the arm rest lid???

Grab an old second hand one from a swap meet or EBay and then buy one of the covers off ebay $30.

I put one straight over the top of my tatty old one without even removing the old cover and it came up a treat. Was very happy with the quality of the cover.

I meant the centre console lid as pictured;
I know this is not the HJ one...

i can comment on the quality because i sell some of rare spares products...some i send back coz they are crap...the console lid is ok in its fitment but if you wanted to use one in an hq and match it to the dash the fish scales are wrong wrong wrong..in a hj with the flat plate over the top of the fishscales it should be fine..
