    Sandman Cake

My daughter is home for Uni holidays, and likes to be creative, so I suggested she helped me do this, she did most of it, and I think it is really cool...let us know what you all think...

We found lots of things for her to copy...very hard to get to scale but I think she did a very good job of the stripes, and it is easier to make the parts you need for the cake, than buy sometimes..(eg for a real resto lol)

Well done. That's a pretty good colour match for Jasmine Yellow. I'd laugh my head off if you brought it out for Absinth's little girl and she said "But I like Fords."

funny that our daughter willl turn 21 in sept and she wants a GTXY for her birthday cake, she was happy to do the sandman, but would rather it had been blue...lol...

yes that was a great match it was a bucket of fondent (resembled playdough) and it was the only yellow you could buy....it sunk a bit on one side so looks like it has a suspension problem....but this is the first she has done, and I think it is great...the wheels were hard to do, I wanted her to use real ones off a bought car, but she said it all has to be edible...lol....
