I messaged one bloke about 6 months ago, who had a set of 14's for $50 and he said that they came off a Commodore.
That's why i now ask the question as to which vehicle (with a pic for proof).

The guy with the gold ones just replied to me with a part number to confirm it's HZ.
Don't look to bad in the gold.
Would be good to have a set in storage.:Chin::Chin::Chin:

the wheels actually look different because of there offset as well.....its fairly easy to confuse the torana sle rim with the hz at a glance..and gemini its just a no brainer..![]()
No Confusion, torana and gemini wheel would both qualify as a "version of" an SLE wheel as stated above just as a gts wheel would qualify as "a version of" its pontiac equivilent no?
my point was at a glance its easy to confuse ..as in pictures etc...as for pontiac rally 2 wheels and gts wheels they are one in the same up till roh started making them in australia which was not until 1973 lateish...but in saying that rally 2 wheels for pontiac were in 14x6 and 14x6 with a different off set and 15x6 and 15x7..but were all called rally 2s.
If i didn't have so many mags around the place, i'd possibly look at getting a set of these.

I think your agreeing with me Greg? and yes I know the history I have 3 out of the 4 mentioned styles here. Canadian produced rims that came off my 1/73 gts coupe, the Australian produced ones which I bought and will put on the Hq ute when I get it back and a set of 15 x 7's Pontiac rims which I got from a bloke near the ACT that imports Ponti's, since sandblasted and awaiting paint.
So....... Did Pontiac ACTUALLY make a 15" for the HQ stud pattern OR would you have to get the HQ to VH stud adaptors?

With the introduction of the Hq, holden went to the American chev/pontiac stud pattern so no adaptors required for the pontiac wheels. Pretty sure they did come in different offsets for the different small to large pontiac range but as to what they are I relied on the ponti guy who sold them to me to sort that out.

Looked up Just Cars which he advertises in, looks like one of his ads with ph 0408 396 327. Cant remember his name as I bought them a while ago but hes out near Tuggeranong and had a backyard full of 67 - 69 Firebirds he'd be able to help you out with any enquiries.
Do a Pontiac search on ebay and you'll find him too. He's usually got something on there.
