not done..sit down and unpick all the old connectors off..can be done but time consuming.or pick up a clean harness and just replace the main power wire, its usually all that gives trouble..

im not that familier with the hq-hz plugs but we have a few oldschool plugs that are of a similar era
http://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespa...tor+body&pno=0
just incase some are any good to you
snuck up on me they did cav...anyway thats some but not all..expensive suckers, rares dont want to sell many hey? at those prices i would be unpicking an old harness..
if we could sell them cheaper we would, the narva universal plugs we sell are double the quantity for half the price, but these kits and how we currently buy them we are talking profit of cents not dollars and with the quantity we have to hold in stock its not even worth having them but its not always about the money.
im probably with you greg personally but as sales show on a few of the plugs some people are prepared to buy them still so we will hold them as long as theres a demand
yeh i can see a few plugs there that would sell cav because they are an in your face plug not hidden..white always looks better than aged yellow..i chop my butchered harnesses and throw all the plugs in a box..most are free to regular customers for the small plugs..tailight plugs are $2.50 to $5 ..still second hand but generally unobtainable.
Looking at the Rares prices I think I'll be repairing the one I've got and replacing only missing connectors! But if one of the connectors is totally stuffed atleast I know I have a couple of fall back options. Thanks for the info guys.
