    blackout measurements - HZ

    Hey guys,

my vans in getting paint done shortly and I was hoping that someone could post some thickness measurements for the door area blackouts (HZ).

my van is not the same on both sides currently and the best info i have so far is "eyeball it from the brochure"

it would be a great resource if someone with original paintwork could take a few pictures with a ruler so that all van restorers can breathe easy knowing they are fairly accurate.

many many thanks, and if you do have this info i'll say g'day and cheers with a beer or two at the next van nationals

    Stick This ?

Does anyone know of a masking kit to do the blackouts around the windows and rear tailgate... could save a fair bit of time and give a nice smooth edge at the same time..

Thanks a whole heap, i'll be able to reference the door frame width and then get them relatively close.

I have considered it mate but dont think it would be worth it. As others have mentioned. Correct mask tape is just as easy for these.

If people disagree and want a mask kit than Im happy to do so.
