Trax currently have 1:43 1977 HZ Sandman Van in Valencia Orange with Blue/white stipe and writing on tail gate new for $39.95
no opening parts, wheels are chrome not GTS stanndard, does have spoler under front bumper.
I would say under $50 with no postage if fair if you are getting the modle and colour you are after.
I thought the trax would have been better mainly because they are more expensive mine are all carlectables back opens and closes had a tail gate fall off the hq though and can't find a hz
I'm more into collecting 1/8th scale models but do have the classic carlectables 1/43rd Absinth Yellow HX Sandman. Carlectables models are far better quality and better detailed.
Soon to be released by Biante in 1/18th are a Mandarin red HX Sandman van and a Jasmin Yellow HZ Sandman ute so a Carlectables version shouldn't be too far away either. Biante have picked up their act in the last year or so and I'll probably buy the van and ute when they are released.
Some of my model collection.
Biante 1/18th HX van

Hey Absinth I also collect the 1/18 scale mainly keep to the following themes all bathurst winners and all of Brock's bathurst cars. use to keep 1/43 in Trax and the V8 Supercars but it was getting too much along with 1/18 road cars in Biante. I believe they are only doing low numbers in both the sandman ute and van and suggest anyone out there pre-order or you may have to pay an over inflated e-bay price, you never really know which models are going to take off in value but I have a feeling that both of these models will do well with perhaps the ute being more popular. The model of the Sandman based on the commodre released a few years ago goes for about $400-$500 on ebay. The detail on these cars are amazing and I get a lot of enjoyment out of them if I could only work out how to convert them from 1/18 to the real thing then I could claim bragging rights over Ozbox's list of REAL cars.
