Hi all,
Agree it was a great event. I hadn't been for 8 years so was an eye opener to see so many more vehicles. Saw Jennies' van however no one hanging around to chat to.
I loved the Green HQ WA66IN, I saw it driving around Penrith Saturday morning and nearly crashed trying to get a look at it.
We didn't come over until Sunday morning so not a lot left at the swap meet, it was a go way to educate my son on different parts. Great variety of cars, utes and vans - dissapointed there wasn't more custom vans. We did get a photo of my son (12) with Stormbringer, we had one of him next to it 8 years ago so is a great time capsule of photography.
Unfortunately didn't take the HQ over as had 3 mates and my son so we took the VE II SV6 wagon which was a great little trip.
I will be a bit more organised next time and bring the ute over and put her in the display and catch up with everyone,
cheers,
Scott
WHAT!!! No pics of the Leopard at all. :(

sorry ags...man every time i tried to take a pic of your van there was people all around it...seriously..![]()
that triple grille had a lot of em scratchin there heads and others just sayin how kool is this...![]()
Fantastic weekend, beginning on Fri night, with Oz, Absinth & family, and R and I having some drinks then Oz suggesting we need to walk a km in the dark at 6am to get the best bargains...but we did, and we had brains trust with us to suggest good bargains for us....first pic below are the boys and their treasures, and HJ308 who found us walking around by recognising Rodney's hathe spent the morning with us then and came back to have a look at our van at the motel before heading home....so good to meet another vertual forum member...
Then we had a few drinks around the carpark looking at everyones cars, as more of us arrived, and others came over for a chat as oz said earlier, then off to Hoggies for tea, and birthday cake for Leela (Absinth daughter) who turned 7...
Oz wanted the guard, and Sandman77 little boy had a wheel and some grill...quickly the cake our gorgeous daughter made was wrecked....
Today we headed up to display our vans, learning from experience last year to get there at 7am...it had rained overnight, and looked threatening, but it held off until later in the afternoon...Gaddy and Annie having a sit in a kingswood lounge....
Absinth and Freemason - good to meet Freemason as well....
Then to put the icing on the cake we won an award, and so did Damian who won car of the day with his Burgundy HJ Sandman, which he has done a lot of custom work on...Which is great to think a Panelvan has won a car of the day award
