    Saw movie Red Dog tonight

Great film, some sad bits. Those in charge of continuity stuffed up a bit though. The film was set between 1971 and 1980. Earlier on in the film (before November 1979) it showed a WB. Right at the end, which could have been true in 1980, it showed a Sandman with WB tail-lights.

I think it is based upon the book, but the book is based upon a real dog.

Yeah, there is a statue of him in Karathra I think. He was a cool dog thats for sure. I remember a bit about a couple of girls who took him to Perth for a holiday and lost him. They though they would get linched when they got back home for losing him. However Red dog beat them home in a truck. I think it was about 2000km back to where they came from, Newman I think.
I read it to Josh when he was about 3, but I have lost the book and ordered a new one last week in Dubbo, funnily enough.
