WB V8 Engine Prefix

no..for statesman it would be 11WT from deville or 12WT from caprice...and either of those engine numbers could have trimatic or t400 or t350 or trimatic...his question was for ute/van/tonner so the correct prefix would be WT..there is proof that wb commercials did come with 308 but very rare.

True I suppose, WR for 253 and WT for 308. Just got to find one in the flesh. Might be the rarest Holden of the lot.

ive seen 2 L31 tagged tonners in the flesh but thats all..

I've seen an L31 WB tonner but not ute. Dr Terry saw a ute new. Not sure if the HDT Magnum ute was a factory L31 or not. Auto would be M38 or M40 depending on build timeframe.
