    HZ tail lights into WB

Hey guys my plastic housings in my WB are fried and cracked up so i thought it would be a good opportunity to put the better looking HZ lights in. Ive got all the bits off the donor HZ.

I have no idea how the hell to wire them up though. Ive had a crack and its definately not working. WB has three globes indicator, reverse and tail/stop all with power and earth. HZ has two globes (brake/tail double filament -no earth) and indicator/reverse (only single filament-earthed through the repeater)

If someone has done this conversion and can put me out of my pain it would be greatly appreciated!

Easiest way to do it is to use 4 diodes (2 each light) and should take a novice about 1 hr to do the wiring part.

I assume you mean which wires Vombil? You want them on every power wire going into the rear indicator bulbs. This stops the reverse lights from activating your front indicators and stops your indicators to cause all 4 lights left and right to flash.

Just remember that Ur WB wont be roadworthy anymore without the addition of the small side lights..

It's as easy as that. You do this for both sides.
The silver stripe is the NEGATIVE side of the diode.
Power flows down the wire towards the silver stripe, but won't allow it to go backwards.
This way won't effect the front blinkers.

I know this is an old thread but it seems like it would be good to keep this all together...

What parts are needed and what body modifications are needed to fit these lights?

    Cheers
