Can anybody tell me what the original flooring covers were made from, if any at all in the HX sandmans, as my recent acquisition had old conveyor belt rubber cut in to cover it. (rear flooring) Did they have a carpeted plywood cover? A layer system of ply, foam or underlay and carpet? or just painted boards..need to know, It's costing me sleep (gettin too old to worry about these sorts of things)
They had........ nothing. Just metal painted the same colour as the sides.

GTS we too would love to see your van, could you have it finished ready to come to our show n shine, and then you can come to the drive in night on the sat night 15th october...then James you can come over as well, and see it, and go to the show-n shine...beds or floors here if needs be, only floors if beds fill up first....That is just too neat GTS! The reason I was asking is because in my van, it has moulded carpet trims fitted over the wheel arches with carpeted side panels as well. the wheel arch trims finish on the floor as if to suggest they were made to finish under some kind of covering. It all seems to be genuine carpet trim with hemming/trimmed edges around some sections. Finished with a full hood liner.. hafta try an beat one of the kids into submission to get some pics up. or kidnap a nerd. butt thanks for the replies.
