    Although the Holden parts manual show it the other way but i'am sure the fitting would only let me hook it up this way .my brakes work better than I remember they did on original van. Jennie sorted typo in reply 12

    That's the confusing part....I have conflicting pics of the pipes off the master cylinder going both ways. It makes it hard to work out which way is correct. I'll see what tomorrow brings.....it will either be brakes or heartaches

    the conflicting pics are from which books?..hj hx hz had different masters with different plumbing and this is where the fun begins..although the master cylinders look the same externally the size of the pipes change..so one master has large thread at front and one has large at rear which when looking inside the size of the brake chambers change in size..
