You are correct. The yellow van has the "eyebrows" painted on, and yes they are a little higher than they should be. Still looks great though.
The red ute decals are not quite the right shape either, they are a little triangular on the eyebrow peak.
Thanks for all of the nice comments guys.

Awesome work guys.
looked like a pretty nice day too!
Hi All,
Thanks Justin for putting up the pics they look great, just a shame Phils replica HQ sandman ute went before you got back to take the snaps. next time.
great to catch up again and i think you were very stiff not to take out the HZ prize on the day.
Justins correct on the stripes, mine are to tall, the guys whom did the resto about 7 years ago i guess didnt have access to the info we have today via mysandman.com etc and painted them on oversize. Too big a job to change at this point in time.
Trevors red HJ ute stripes are quite pointed on top and not quite right as well.
looking forward to the next time to get the cars together.
cheers Rob
Sorry for the late reply Justin,(just saw the thread) but well done again!
Looks like you'll be cleaning up at all these shows. The trophy cabinet will be filling up.
Did your dad take his car as well ? She's a beauty too!!
