My Uncle was the working for NPWS around the late 80's and lived at Mookerawa, he also rebuilt the pub at Mumbil, had some good holidays skiing there.
Will try and have a family weekend tripfor the Show & Shine.

Great I say Muckawa as that is the way we say it and no one knows Mookerawa lol....should be room here if needs be....

Thank you for the interest in our

drive in night.

We have just been to our monthly meeting, and drive In tickets are selling fast..We are going to pay for our tickets tomorrow by cheque for the show n shine, and drive in....so by looking at this thread we are going to pay for 2 vehicles for ourselves to both show n shine and drive in...1 vehicle for Gaddy to show n shine and drive in, 1 vehicle for Damon for show and shine and drive in...2 vehicles for the Qset for show n shine and drive in..Dean if you don't want to take two vehicles to the drive in your ticket will be easily sold..1 vehicle for Pacvan show n shine and drive in...These are the ones who have indicated they are coming for sure....so that is 7 entries...if there is anyone we have missed or who would like to come along please pm me or reply to this thread.

Yup went over there today, as mulch was being delivered, and stood there reminiscing the old days, working bee tomoz rodney painting lines, and me making choc tops, and spreading mulch...cant wait either....

Just nosed the Waggin from trip to and back deepest darkest Victoria. What superb drive and comfy as at least three comfy things. Currently washing off 2500 km of road grime and packing up the green and blue Q's for an attempt for an early start in the morning. HOpe that weather forecast is kind to us. Don't go telling all the best yarns tonight, I want to catch up with a few stories tomorrow. See yous on the grid. D & H

Hi too late now but I had a thought. Next time there is a drive in night how about each state have one on the same night. We have one left here in WA. Wouldn't it be cool if at a pre determined time we put our interior lights on or something like that so we can be identified by other Sandman forumers. Or perhaps meet in a car park somewhere before hand even if we just take a our daily drives if our vans, utes or whatevers are off the road. I would def take the XU1 and my wife of course.
