Work as a Drafsman/Engineer for a motorbody builder presently. Prior to this spent 10 years working as a technical officer for a filtration screen manufacture where I did a little of everything. CAD Drawing, machine maintance, process planning, fabrication, purchasing etc. I have also worked for a Signatory engineer helping with inspection of vehicles for engineers certifcates, bit of Jap import stuff as well as drawing and report writing for a couple of goverment contracts he had. I spent 2 years after I left school doing mechanical engineering at uni bfore completeing a mechanics apprentiship at a dealer. Whist I completed my apprentiship I went to tech at night and did a Mech Eng Diploma. I have also done a few tickets in welding, fabrication and machining. I have also run a fabrication business that specialised in componets for rally cars.

Truck driver, been driving fuel tankers for 7 years. Before i started driving tankers i worked at a vineyard, installed irrigation systems, vine work and drove truck and tractors. Best move i ever made getting out of the vineyard. $$'s were crap and still are from what some mates that still work there tell me.

A Harvesting Forester, at the moment I have 10 crews to keep going, ensuring it runs smoothly and areas are regenerated at the end. Its not quite as dramatic as axemen(tv) but given the rain we had this year it still has its challenges. In a previous life Id done a degree and did the same as vombil does but have done other things to keep the boredom away including short stints (whilst a young bloke) on farms, stock and station, in construction and on oil rigs.
