Hj grill and surounds

I'm no expert but I reckon silver/grey is wrong. Check out some of the brochures from the day, and my avatar, and I think you will find the grille and headlight rims were black.

The grille and headlight surrounds on my hj sandman panel van are all black. I don't think I've ever seen a genuine hj sandman (ure or panel van) in the colour you specified. :lifesaver:

You are going to want to get this;

Black lamp surrounds and Black grille.

they are 100% black..ive got a pic somewhere of my fathers new hj sandman in the driveway with my new escort van and they are black..

it allso had a sound deadner mat under the bonnet should i put that back on

My Sandman still has this too. Great little original feature that gives your Sandman more detail! I agree with OZ chuck it back on if its in good condition! :lifesaver:

yes it is in great nic and still has the steal clips so i shall put it back on and i will be happier with the black grill and surounds they look good with the green
