Breakthrough! A good friend did some digging around, and found the original Aztec trim was used in an AMC pacer as a DL trim option, and now I have found a company in Oregon, USA who can supply it.....in blue, red or grey. (http://www.mjcclassiccars.com/1976-AMC-Pacer-D-L.shtml#) example on this link. For anyone interested....smsautotrim.com also has many of the trims available from all other old holden models, and many other brands.
Welcome back Mckackie, glad you found the site again. Did you open a thread on here originally showing pictures of you sandman. I had a quick look and couldn't see one. Is it still running and registered?
warren got herring bone only if he does the job cheers rocky
yes, still running and registered.....still digging around for bits n pieces before I do the resto, as I will be hitting hard like a paid customer job and not doing it over ten years every third sunday etc. The fact the front page of teh website is off line didn't help me trying to get in here, the same friend showed me the trick!

Very cool trim. Very period. Looks like your van is a true survivor. Love it

OK. I don't know why, but the website won't let me upload images.
