Could this be a sandman - Chassis swap

well i thought id give the bag of worms another stur up lol, heres a situation for you guys, what if you knew of a sandman locally 20years ago that was stripped and turfed, id plates and all, just the chassie remains,you know it was a sandman, but no way to prove, whats it make it now, even if you put another sandman body and tags back on, is it still a sandman? becasue you cant prove its a sandman chassie???wont it just be a sandman body on a different chassie even if it is a sandman chassie

it may be food for thought but it still isnt backing anything you say regarding legal identities...
as a motor dealer i receive stuff from fair trading regarding cars etc....here is a link to the new securities register which clearly states that if you do not use the vin or chassis number you will not get a correct search..it even states that number plate or engine numbers are irrelevent to the search which makes the chassis number the identity..this is an australian government document for the entire country not just one state..POINT is proven...chassis number is the identity of the vehicle..nothing else matters..
