Could this be a sandman - Chassis swap

just throwing it out there if i had a bent chassis on my sandman that came out as a 253 and swaped it with another sandman chassis that came out as a 308 and keeping the same tags on the body what does my sandman become now?:Chin:

sorry forgot to mention the chassis are from different years anyway after differring opinions and info on this thread i got some expert advice from the owner mechanic at the local approved inspection station . he said i get a police surrogate number stamped on the replacement chassis that overides everything, the year make and body type comes off the tags currently on the car which was my concern anyway interesting subject

Its not a sandman chassis unless it is with the tags that have the same number.

In the not too distant future, maybe the time is upon us now already. Having matching chassis and plates may not be enough, but supporting documentation and/or historical papers will be needed to authenticate.
