agree ^^^^^^. don't want to end up like the GMH.Torana forum
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
Gotta give it to you Twotees. Youre a persistant bugger. And goodonya. If as said above, we all had the same opinion it would get very boring. And maybe like GMH-torana, but god forbid, maybe even like Bertiestreet.com....
Good luck with your investigations, but I reckon everyone understands the whole situation a lot better now thanks to the both of you. I think...
ok interesting debate.
as WA uses the ADR tag to register cars and NSW uses the rail.
does that make it a sandman in W.A but not in NSW? lolo
.....fire now stoked, now where is my popcorn?

"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
adam..the start of this thread was the ute which is in nsw and my part of the debate is also in nsw but all the states are working to become uniform in there registration/engineering and modification laws so dont be too surprised if wa and the other states that did it that way stop doing it that way...
and..
when they were made new they had a matching tag to chassis to start with..
This is my last entry to this debate.... I hope.
When some low life moron steals your car, you go to the police, they ask for the identifying numbers to aid in recovery. There is no point telling them the option codes off the id plates is there. You give them the chassis number and the engine number. Why do we do this? Because they are the legal identity of the car.
You were right to laugh
So is this a commodore or a patrol
