Could this be a sandman - Chassis swap

I just want recap and clarify what it is I am trying to determine here.
Ozbox claims that once a chassis is changed the car looses its sandman title.
The logic used seems to be that a different chassis number brings with it a whole new identity.

if it does not have a matching tag chassis number to chassis stamped number then it has mismatching numbers.
the numbers which are mismatching are the chassis number which then do not match the tags therefore taking with it from a collectible point the value of matching numbers..therefore no longer a matching number tag to chassis collectible.
the identity of any vehicle is the chassis number for registration purposes in any state of australia.this is a legal requirement for registration.
