There are still replacement rails out there with no number. If you put this in your car and go to register it, it will need a Police issued chassis number.

all right then so say i find replacement rails, are they stamped to the numbers stamped on the tags, which then makes it a matching numbers sandman, or it makes no difference and i should just use a hz chassie ive got allready, does it cost anything to have the cops stamp the chassie?
