i made to decision to keep it with him. he is finishing it up and only charging 300 extra.
im happy with his previous work but the main reason is the time span i want it done by and im kinda in a remote location haha

I think everybody would appreciate your input. Maybe a thread on what to do/ not to do in this circumstance. If not for the home welder, at least when we approch someone some knowledge on how they say they will tackle it we can have some understanding.

Trying to say this in a nice way. $800 is way way too cheap. Sometimes a cheaper price is just that.
No worries guys, ill fish out some pics and post em. Some may be of the other brands but the repairs are relevant to what you guys will be doing...

you dont want to pay bulk money like this guy and end up with 'wobbles the wobbygong' fill ins. looks like metal was not pre bent with the natural curve they should have. check the shadow. such a shame
